The Refugee School Impact Program is part of the Division of Refugee Assistance (DRA) and provides funding for activities that lead to the effective integration and education of refugee children.
empowering refugee students |
The Refugee School Impact Program provides essential support for students between the ages of 5 and 18. Our services include English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction, which helps students develop the language skills necessary for academic success.
We also offer after-school tutorials and programs that encourage high school completion and full participation in school activities, ensuring that students remain engaged and motivated. |
Through this program we are able to foster a sense of community and belonging.
Our parental involvement programs aim to strengthen the connection between home and school, while bilingual and bicultural counselors offer tailored guidance to students navigating their new environments. Interpreter services are also available to bridge communication gaps and support students and their families in accessing the resources they need.
