The Parent Academy Program gives every parent an opportunity to ask questions about schools in the U.S., give feedback about their child's school, and choose leadership roles in the school system that interests them.
We partner with school districts to offer a comprehensive cultural orientation and systemic education program that accesses parents' background knowledge about schools while introducing them to the US school system, honors their expertise as parents while sharing ways they can support their EL students, and discusses how parents can engage with teachers and their child’s school.
Parents and caretakers with English Learning students are invited to join their district's Parent Academy to explore topics around US schools, meet other parents, learn leadership skills, and become more involved at your student’s school.
