RefugeeConnect is dedicated to protecting the health of individuals and families we serve, our staff, volunteers, and community members. Effective March 16, RefugeeConnect will operate remotely with with no face-to-face contact. RefugeeConnect will empower families remotely through phone, email, video conferencing, and online communication tools. Information and resources are quickly evolving each day. RefugeeConnect will follow recommendations and instructions from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and from elected and public health officials and urge community members to do the same. Our website and social media will continue to be updated with resources and ways to help.
Some refugee families may face barriers to accessing vital resources. Barriers may include:

- Culturally relevancy
- Accessibility
- Trauma-informed
