EducationConnect is RefugeeConnect’s integrated education initiative, bringing together the organization’s College & Career Readiness, Parent Academy, and Training & Consultation programs into one unified approach. This evolution reflects both the natural overlap of these services and RefugeeConnect’s commitment to addressing a broader range of refugee education gaps with greater coordination and impact.

Student Support

Our program provides comprehensive support for high school seniors through our College & Career Readiness program at partnering Cincinnati Public Schools and Boone County Schools.

Educational Workshops

The program offers educational workshops on College and Career Readiness topics to high school English Language Learners of all grades.

Individualized Support

Individualized support is provided to high school seniors, with a particular focus on those facing educational challenges due to limited formal education backgrounds.

Parent Engagement

Parents are engaged to increase knowledge and understanding of higher education and postsecondary opportunities for their children.

Navigator Impact

Students working with a navigator recieve one-on-one coaching, small or large group education, follow ups during the school year and summer, and caregivers are included in the education so that they can help support their student!
