We are dedicated to connecting refugees (people forced to flee their country to escape persecution, war, or natural disaster) with resources to rebuild their lives as United States citizens.
Who are we?
RefugeeConnect helps refugees and asylees navigate often unfamiliar systems, new cultural norms, and language barriers. We promote coordinated services so that this specific population of new Americans, who may be unaware of the patchwork of crucial resources already in place, reach their full potential as individuals, families, and civic and community leaders.

I think the gap we help fill is that navigators understand how different systems work and because we are all immigrants and refugees, we understand the culture of the families we work with and the experience those families have acclimating here. We teach refugees about navigating systems and we have their trust because we had to build for ourselves, and now we can share our knowledge with our community.
