Parent Academy

Parent Academy is a parent engagement program supported by the Hamilton County Educational Services Center Title III Consortium and facilitated by RefugeeConnect staff at YOUR school or district. We partner with you to offer a comprehensive cultural orientation and systemic education program that accesses parents' background knowledge about schools while introducing them to the US school system, honors their expertise as parents while sharing ways they can support their EL students, and discusses how parents can engage with teachers and their child’s school. Contact us about booking a Parent Academy today!

Training & Consultation

To strengthen our impact, we actively cultivate partnerships with service providers and offer culturally responsive, trauma-informed training. We will offer this to Boone County Schools to enhance a more inclusive and welcoming school community. This not only enhances inclusivity in supporting refugee and immigrant families but also contributes to systemic change. Our goal is to build a more inclusive and supportive community throughout Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, with emphasis on Boone County through a well-established referral pathway with the Boone County School District.
