college & Career readiness

The College & Career Readiness program focuses on supporting students and families as they navigate their complex postsecondary opportunities. Our approach includes parental involvement and supportive resources specific to students' postsecondary goals.
Our College and Career Readiness Program, is designed to support high school seniors in specific Cincinnati Public and Boone County partner schools.

Educational Workshops
The program offers educational workshops on College and Career Readiness topics to high school English Language Learners of all grades.
Individualized Support
Individualized support is provided to high school seniors, with a particular focus on those facing educational challenges due to limited formal education backgrounds.

Parent Engagement
Parents are engaged to increase knowledge and understanding of higher education and postsecondary opportunities for their children.

The school-aged refugee population is estimated to stand at 14.8 million this year. Of those children, 49 per cent per cent are estimated to be out of school – that means approximately 7.2 million refugee children are missing out on education.
